About

We've wasted the money on bad software so you don't have to.

Synthetix Media exists for one reason: there are a hundred new "AI for small business" tools every month, the sales pages all sound the same, and almost nobody reviewing them has actually run a service business.

We have. Synthetix Media is run by Altin Sallaku — who's owned and operated service businesses, including an auto repair shop, and now builds operations software for trades. That's the kind of place where a missed call at 8am is a job that went to a competitor by 9. The reviews here come from that operator's-eye view: sitting through the demos, signing the contracts, and feeling the sting when a tool that looked great in the pitch turned out to be useless on a Tuesday morning with three customers waiting.

Why this site is different

Most "best AI tools" lists are written by people who never touched the software. They rewrite the feature page, slap on affiliate links, and rank whoever pays the most. You can usually tell — every tool is "the best," and none of them have a single real downside.

That's not us. When we say a tool is our top pick, it's because we tested it against the others and it won on the thing that matters: does it actually help a service business make or keep money. When a tool has a real flaw — and most do — we tell you, even the ones we earn a commission on.

How we keep it honest

Spotted something wrong? If a price is out of date or a tool changed in a way we missed, tell us and we'll fix it. Honest corrections make the site more useful for the next owner who lands here.

Who we write for

You. The shop owner, the contractor, the home-service operator who's good at the actual work and doesn't have time to become a software expert. Every review is written so you can make a confident decision in a few minutes — what it costs, what it does, whether it's worth it for a business your size, and what to watch out for.
